Happy 2020 Friends!
When I thought of writing to you, I wanted it to be more in the spirit of celebration for the new year, but the fires in Australia have definitely got me thinking of all I am thankful for. Having lived in Australia for a time, the country holds a special place in my heart and I knew I had to do something to help. It is such a huge disaster and it seems like my mere offerings are so small compared to the enormity of the full devastation but I am reminded that every little bit helps!
I took my creativity and put it into action by my making this beautiful necklace named Australia Love. It is hand-sawn, filed, sanded and polished for finishing in recycled brass. I’ve paired the brass with a silver jump ring and ball-chain necklace to really allow the brass to pop! I am happy to announce that all profits will be donated to WIRES - Australian Animal Rescue Organisation to help with wildlife effected by the fires and drought that have ravaged the country. I also want to take this time to thank you all for your love and support for me and my business. It means so much to me that I get to live out my dream as a jewellery designer and continue to be inspired by my love for the ocean.
