Carry the beauty of this sand dollar with you, long after you have left the ocean. This ring has been handcrafted with a 3mm wide hammered band resembling the cobble stone coast line we have here in Nova Scotia. Each sand dollar was cast from an original mini Atlantic sand dollar found here in Nova Scotia.

While diving for scallops this fall I happened upon a group of sand dollars that had been washed to shallow waters. I was so excited to find them as our rocky coastline makes it difficult to find them whole. The sand bottom was protecting them from being broken and the idea came to me for these rings. Inspired by these beautiful treasures I decided to cast them so they will last for years and years to come.
