The cobalt blue sea glass is sometimes called the "sapphire of the beach" which is very rare to find. Perfume, vick's vapo rub and milk of magnesia bottles are just some of the bottles that have been known to be this colour.

After finding this sea glass I brought it back to my studio and made the setting from fine silver. When the light shines through the back of the pendant a small heart shines through the blue glass, this was done by sawing a tiny heart with a handsaw. I added a jump ring on the setting for the periwinkle shell which gives the pendant extra detail.

The sea glass pendant measures approximately(including the periwinkle shell) 1.3 cm x 2.0 cm x 0.4cm or 0.51" x 0.78" x 0.15"
