The cobalt blue sea glass is sometimes called the "sapphire of the beach" which is very rare to find. Perfume, vick's vapo rub and milk of magnesia bottles are just some of the bottles that have been known to be this colour.
After finding this sea glass I brought it back to my studio and made the setting from fine silver. When the light shines through the back of the earring and the colour shines through.
The sea glass earrings measure approximately(including the silver setting) 0.5 cm x 0.5 cm x 0.5cm. They are paired with sterling silver hallow hoops which are nice and light weight for the size of the earring.
